ITINERARY

Day 1

We will pick you up early in the morning from the hotel, and driven to Materuni Waterfall, located in Moshi Rural at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. On a clear day the mountain can be seen as you drive in. This 2-3 hrs hike will take you through the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, through beautiful banana and coffee plantations, rainforest, flora and fauna. You will go through the chagga people villages where you will learn how to prepare local coffee and banana brew and experience outstanding cultural experience. In the late afternoon you will drive back to Arusha and be dropped-off at the place of your choice. That will be the end of your safari.
