TOUR DETAILS

This is a 3 days 2 nights safari with midrange accommodation in Mikumi National Park. You’ll be picked-up at your place at 06:00 AM in Dar es Salaam at your hotel or airport and drive to Mikumi NP for 6 to 7 hours. Arrive in the afternoon and make an evening game drive enjoying the magnificent beauty of the park followed by next day full game drive before driving back to Dar es Salaam. Welcome!

ITINERARY

DAY 1

DAR ES SALAAM TO MIKUMI.

You’ll be picked up at your hotel in Dar es Salaam at 6:00am and drive to Mikumi National Park (5-6hours drive). You’ll have a hot lunch in Morogoro town then take 30 minutes to drive to the park. You’ll arrive in time for the afternoon and evening game drive. You will be able to see herds of elephants, zebras, impala and giraffes. In the evening at 6:00pm you will return to your accommodation

Dinner and overnight stay will be at Camp Bastian.

DAY 2

MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK.

In the morning after breakfast, enjoy full-day game viewing in the park with packed lunch and mineral water. The Mikumi flood plain is the main feature of the park along with the bordering mountain ranges. Animals commonly found here include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, hippo and elephant. The Mikumi elephants are mainly grazers and do not cause damage. In the evening you will return to your accommodation.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at Camp Bastian.

DAY 3

MIKUMI TO DAR ES SALAAM.

After breakfast at the camp, enjoy a 2-3 hours visit a small Maasai village with your packed lunches before driving to Dar es Salaam. You’ll arrive in evening.
