Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Selous | Boat Safari
Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel or the airport in Dar es Salaam and drive to Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park), arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and rich birdlife. Dinner and overnight stay at Selous Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Selous
After breakfast, you will proceed for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. You will explore different wildlife-rich areas with chances to see lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and African wild dogs. Dinner and overnight stay at Selous Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Selous
After an early breakfast, you will enjoy another full-day game drive in Selous, visiting new sections of the park to maximize wildlife sightings and enjoy the stunning landscapes. Picnic lunch will be served in the park. Dinner and overnight stay at Selous Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Walking Safari or Maasai Cultural Visit – Return to Dar es Salaam
After breakfast, you will choose between a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger, where you will learn about animal tracks, plants, and the ecosystem, or a Maasai cultural visit, offering insight into local traditions, lifestyle, and customs. Later, you will depart Selous and drive back to Dar es Salaam, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
