After our picnic lunch, we’ll continue with afternoon game viewing in the park to look for lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, python, zebra, oryx, impala, and more. Over 450 species of birds have been observed in the park. At 6:00 pm you will drive back to your accommodation.

Here, the wildlife is just breathtaking, and with a little luck, you can observe the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—in just a few hours. You should also see warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area. After a morning dedicated to game viewing and a picnic lunch, you will leave the crater in the afternoon to drive to Serengeti, where you will arrive in the early evening.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at Serengeti Rest House in Serengeti National Park.

Bizarre rock formations called kopjes dot the grassy landscape where predators are often seen. Depending on the season, you will witness the migration of thousands of animals for which this park is famous. During the short rainy season in November and December, the herds move from the hills in the north to the plains in the south. During the longer rainy season from April to June, they return up north. You will have full game drives in Day 3 and 4. At 6:00 pm you will drive back to your accommodation.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at Serengeti Rest House in Serengeti National Park.
