Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you’ll travel to Tarangire National Park for lunch at the lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. The park features iconic baobab trees, Savannah, and acacia woodlands, with abundant wildlife, especially during the dry season (June to September) when many animals migrate to the Tarangire River, followed by predators like lions and leopards.

Day 2: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater

You’ll head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and take an afternoon tour of the Ngorongoro Crater, descending 600m to its 260 sq. km floor. This natural amphitheater hosts a diverse, year-round wildlife population including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and other plains animals.

Day 3 – 5 Serengeti National Park

Traveling to Serengeti National Park, you’ll pass Olduvai Gorge, an important archaeological site. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive to see over 35 animal species. The Serengeti is famous for the annual wildebeest migration starting in June, attracting many predators. It also hosts over 500 bird species

Day 6 – Serengeti National Park to Karatu

After breakfast, we will have a morning game drive in Serengeti. Then, we will proceed with a game drive and later have a picnic lunch at Nabi Gate. In the afternoon, we will depart to Karatu, where we will have dinner and an overnight stay at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge.

Day 7 – Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha or Airport

After breakfast, enjoy a final short game drive if possible, then fly back to Arusha. Take in the Serengeti’s aerial view before your safari concludes upon arrival in Arusha.

We booked the 5-Day Tarangire-Serengeti-Ngorongoro-Manyara Adventure, and it was beyond our expectations. During the safari, the service and hospitality were immaculate. We had Joshua as our guide, and he truly impressed us with his expertise. We even had a private chef for two of the five days. We are also very happy with the animals we saw, as we got to see the Big Five and a myriad of other animals. Overall we highly recommend happy moments for anyone looking for an amazing safari experience.

It was a fantastic experience. Happy Moments has arranged accommodation in Dreams of Farms, another unique lodge with excellent facilities. In Serengeti, we stayed in the lodge, and the food prepared by the chef was excellent in taste. I recommend them as excellent value for money spent. Our guide Ben has excellent eyesight to spot the animals far away.

We had a fabulous experience time with our excellent guide. Communication, service, value and reliability are great. Everything has been really amazing from start to finish and our wonderful guide went over and beyond to let us see the animals as close as possible always with the best views….. Thanks to him we had a wonderful experience of Tanzania which was a life long dream. I cannot recommend them enough.
