Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park

You’ll leave Dar es Salaam at 6:30 am for Selous and enjoy an afternoon boat trip from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm on the Rufiji River. The trip features stunning scenery, abundant hippos, crocodiles, over 350 bird species, and opportunities for fishing tiger fish and catfish.

Day 2: Nyerere National Park Game Drive

The day is dedicated to game viewing in the reserve, spotting rare animals like wild dogs, sable antelopes, black rhinoceros, Nile crocodiles, hippos, and other species such as cape buffalo, hartebeest, and eland. A picnic lunch and drinks are served in the wilderness.

Day 3: Nyerere National Park – Dar es Salaam

After an early breakfast at camp, you’ll embark on a 2-3 hour sunrise bush walk starting around 6:00-6:30 am, offering a close encounter with nature and smaller wildlife. The walk begins with tea and homemade treats, followed by breakfast back at the lodge. Afterwards, you’ll head to Dar es Salaam or take a boat to Zanzibar.

It was a fantastic experience. Happy Moments has arranged accommodation in Dreams of Farms, another unique lodge with excellent facilities. In Serengeti, we stayed in the lodge, and the food prepared by the chef was excellent in taste. I recommend them as excellent value for money spent. Our guide Ben has excellent eyesight to spot the animals far away.

We booked the 5-Day Tarangire-Serengeti-Ngorongoro-Manyara Adventure, and it was beyond our expectations. During the safari, the service and hospitality were immaculate. We had Joshua as our guide, and he truly impressed us with his expertise. We even had a private chef for two of the five days. We are also very happy with the animals we saw, as we got to see the Big Five and a myriad of other animals. Overall we highly recommend happy moments for anyone looking for an amazing safari experience.

We did a 4 days safari throughout the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and the lake Manyara. The communication before booking and all the way until the end has been great. Our guide was very kind, dedicated in providing us with the best experience and comfort, shoutout to him and the rest of the team. Highly recommend it!
